Born in 1906 in Ben Tre , South Vietnam (1906 – 1966) .
Graduated from the Fine Arts College of Indochina .
Former student of the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Paris (National school of Fine Arts in Paris)
Student of J. Pierre Laurens.
Received a prize offered by the “Salon Officiel des Artistes Francais”.
Received scholarships to study in Rome and Athens.
Director in charge of Asian Arts during the International Exhibition of Catholic Press at Vatican in 1936.
Was the organizer of the Vatican International Exhibition in Paris of 1937.
Chief Delegate of Vietnamese artists during the International Exhibition of Religious Art of the Vatican in Rome in 1950 on the occasion of the Holy Year.
Several of his works are exhibited at:
The Museum of Luxembourg in Paris (La Famillie – the Family – Oil on canvas.)
At the “Missionaria Arte” Museum at Vatican (Mater Amabilis and Saint Magdalene at the food of the cross – Wall panel)
At the Aix-la-Chanelle Museum in Germany (Mother and child– Water colour on silk)
Style: Neo-classic.
Preference: Japanese Woodblock – Primitive.
